How Material Quantities Are Calculated

Area-based quantities use actual roof surface area and the specified waste allowance. Package counts are rounded up. Linear accessories require measured lengths. Metal panel counts are only estimated when panel-run width and panel length are supplied; irregular planes need a separate panel-by-panel layout.

Before ordering: verify roof geometry, selected manufacturer's installed coverage, roof slope compatibility, underlayment and insulation requirements, wind-uplift assembly, flashing, fasteners, and drainage. Material waste should not be applied twice when a product's coverage figure already incorporates the relevant allowance.
